Features
What kegtrack does for your kegs
A brewery is the typical user, but nothing is specific to beer: any organisation that lends out deposit kegs can use it.
Scanning
- Three ways to scan
Bluetooth scanner, rear camera with torch or manual entry. Each read gives a colour, a sound and a vibration.
- Batches
Configure once, then scan dozens of kegs. A keg that does not fit is rejected at scan time.
- All or nothing
The capture is kept on the server, so a refresh or a dead battery loses nothing. On validation, everything passes or nothing is written.
Seven states, and rules between them.
A move that makes no sense is refused on the spot. An administrator can force one by giving a reason, and the timeline keeps it.
Deliver and recall
- Delivery notes
The delivery note is created on validation, ready to print and sign.
- Product recall
Every customer concerned by a lot, with contacts, quantities and exact QR codes. Exportable and printable.
- Customers
The kegs each customer holds, in red past the threshold.
- Fleet
Full-text search, filters, age in status, and CSV and Excel export.
Running it
- QR labels
Print sheets of 3 x 8 labels, 70 x 37 mm, or import your fleet from a spreadsheet.
- Roles
Read, Production and Administrator. A session locks after 15 minutes of inactivity and asks for a six-digit PIN.
- Breweries kept apart
One install serves several breweries. PostgreSQL row-level security keeps their data separate.
- A history you can trust
Events are append-only, and the history is the source of truth.
- Phone first
Built for phones, with light and dark themes, in French and English.
What it does not do
- Not in this version
Billing, deposits and amounts due, offline use, a native app, self-service sign-up, a public API, custom statuses and multi-site.
- Paper labels
Paper labels do not survive an 80 °C caustic wash. Plan for engraved plates or industrial polyester labels.
